It doesn't matter that I'm nearing 40, I'll always remember the special memories of back to school shopping. New clothes, yes, but more importantly, new supplies. Fresh notebooks (trapper keepers!), new pencils and crazy erasers, a lunch box and some paper clips that I could use as a fake retainer. For some crazy reason, in 4th grade, I thought retainers were super cool and I always wanted one.
