Skulls and Bacon Shirt on Top Chef

Holy cow, well this made my day! I love the show Top Chef, I dvr it every week to make sure I don't miss anything. Tonight, just as I was walking in the door, I got an email from TS Rogers, who designed my awesome Skulls & Bacon logo. He said that one of the chefs was wearing a Skulls & Bacon t-shirt on the show. I ran to my tv and check it out:





I also found this interview with Chef Andrea from last month where the interviewer made it a point to note that she wore a shirt with a skull and bacon crossbones print to the meeting.

Attention Kmart Shoppers

Yeah, I know it's been a while. Equal parts of busy and lazy keep me from doing all of the things I mean to do. But you know, I have to share when I find some awesome new skull stuff, that gets me motivated! Today when I saw the weekly flyer for Kmart I actually ran to a computer to buy this stuff. I wasn't even at home so I had to commandeer my mom's computer for a little drive-by-shopping. Here's what I picked up:

Nice 4GN skull flash drive for only $16.99. Heck, I'd buy it just to use as a keychain.

Back to school time is a great time for finding new skull stuff and Kmart has tons more.

R.I.P. Ryan August of I Want Your Skull

I've been away from blogging for a couple of weeks and just saw the news that Ryan August from the wonderful blog and 'zine, http://www.iwantyourskull.com/, has left this earth too soon. While we never met, I always made sure to visit his blog often. He was an extremely talented artist and he will be missed. Fellow artist, Brian Mercer, says that there will be a tribute coming soon, I'll post again when there's further details.
