I really have to thank my friend Matt for forwarding me the link to Crystal Head Vodka.
It appears that a Dan Aykroyd viral video has been spreading the last couple of days with him touting his own vodka and there was speculation that it was a hoax, partially because the story behind the vodka and Dan's video is a little weird. The inspiration behind Crystal Head Vodka is the story of 13 crystal heads. You should really head on over to the site and check it out for yourself.
The accurate glass rendering of a human skull was designed by artist John Alexander and the glass skull bottle is made by Bruni Glass in Milan, Italy. The vodka is produced by Diamond Estates Wines & Spirits Ltd, out of Newfoundland water triple crystal filtered through herkimer diamonds (aka double-terminated quartz crystals).
Personally, I don't care what Dan Aykroyd has been smoking because he's made possible this amazing glass skull bottle for the vodka that for which I will soon be scouring the local liquor stores. Truthfully, I'm not much of a drinker but if could make Bacon Vodka to serve from this awesome skull bottle, my life would come full circle.

Bacon Gumballs
NO ONE can beat Archie McPhee! They are quite aware that there's a faction of crazy bacon people just waiting for the newest bacon novelty.
Each tin contains twenty-two Bacon Gumballs and it's only $6.95 for 2 tins. It's a freakin bargain, people. Do you think chewing this gum will give you bacon breath? Only one way to find out....will report back as soon as I get my hands on some.

The Holy Church of Bacon
I have just joined The Holy Church of Bacon. (Please don't tell my rabbi!)

I have been enlightened by reading this wiki, Baconic Brothers and Sisters.
The Holy Book of Bacon gives us the The Five Baconic Laws

- Thou shalt not consider Bacon on the same level as any other food, as it is above all.
- Thou shalt not consume imitation Bacon.
- Thou shalt not stop pursuing Baconlightenment until it is reached.
- Thou shalt not forget to consume Bacon for ten days.
- Thou shalt spread the word of Bacon to all
Also I have been able to read up on the National Bacon Party and Bacon in Science.

Particularly intruiging is the Big Bacon theory vs. Bacogenesis.
The Holy Church of Bacon needs your help to spread this delicious religion. Go to the Community Portal to see how you can get involved.
Bacon be with you.
Halloween Stamped Cookie Cutters
Missed these fabu stamp cookie cutters when I posted the skull pancake mold from Williams-Sonoma yesterday. The skull cookie cutter is, of course, the best. I wish that you could buy them separately instead of having to purchase it as a set for $19.95. I could see myself using the cat cookie cutter but no doubt the pumpkin and the witch would be sitting very lonely in the far recesses of some junk drawer.

I don't know who Baconman901 is but his videos shorts are making their way around the internet like lightning, as do most bacon related things. Anyhow, they are kinda funny and I really want his fantastic bacon costume for this years Halloween party.
